A College Degree Pays

24 Oct 2004

In a recent study, Education Pays, the College Board reported that the difference in salary between those who have earned a college degree and those who haven't has increased yet again. If you ever wondered if an education pays, look at the figures below!

According to the study, the median salary earned last year by workers with only a high school diploma was just over $30,000. The media salary for college graduates, however, was almost $50,000. And, for those with advanced degrees, the difference was even more substantial: those with a master's degree were averaging $60,000 and those with a professional degree typically earned close to $100,000 per year.

Tip:  While there are clear economic benefits to earning a college degree, you still have to come up with the money to pay the tuition. That's where Reference Service Press can help. There are billions of dollars in financial aid available. To find out about this funding, check out Reference Service Press's line of award-winning financial aid directories.
