2006/2007 Reference Service Press
Fellowship Winner
Sarah Lehmann first became interested in librarianship when she was working as a student assistant in the reference department at Occidental University's library. She is now enrolled as a first-year student in UCLA's Library and Information Science Master's program.
What Sarah loves most about librarianship is that it unites her interests, skills, and values. She views library service as both meaningful and rewarding. In particular, she is committed to providing the greatest possible access to the best possible information.
Sarah is interested in working in academic reference, library outreach, and/or library marketing in the future. It is her goal to make libraries as user-friendly as possible.
